HXR was started by Felicia Thompson-Suggs in 2018. Felicia knew that she could make a difference in her city and took it upon herself to begin this project. The name Hope X Rope stands for Helping Our People Everywhere Reach Our Potential Everyday. The mission of the organization is to help our communities and neighbors reach full potential by contributing support and resources to develop, grow and thrive. The vision of the organization is to enrich, inspire and empower our communities to connect, develop and grow by providing opportunities, resources and economic support.
